Noemi's Journey
Born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, Noemi developed a deep appreciation for art while immersed in one of Europe's most vibrant cultural landscapes. Surrounded by extraordinary architecture, museums, and artistic heritage, she was inspired from an early age by the great Impressionist and Modern masters, including Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh, Matisse, and Salvador Dalí. Their passion for color, light, and expression continues to influence her artistic vision today.
In her twenties, Noemi relocated to California's Bay Area, where she discovered a new source of inspiration. Blending the energy of urban environments with the beauty she encounters through her travels, she creates paintings that celebrate movement, vibrant color, and emotion. Her work reflects a unique fusion of her European roots and the contemporary spirit of California.
Painting is an essential part of Noemi's daily life. She is especially drawn to urban landscapes, capturing the rhythm, architecture, and atmosphere of the places that inspire her. At the same time, her enduring admiration for Impressionism continues to shape her artistic practice, as she continually explores light, texture, and color in her home studio.
Over the past decade, Noemi's work has been collected by art enthusiasts throughout Europe and California, with paintings featured in both private and public collections. She has received recognition as a finalist in juried competitions in San Francisco, Barcelona, and Italy, and has exhibited in Silicon Valley art exhibitions, respected Barcelona galleries, and numerous private shows.
Beyond creating art, Noemi believes in giving back to her community. A portion of the proceeds from her artwork is donated to charitable causes that are meaningful to her, reflecting her belief that art has the power to inspire not only beauty but also positive change.
Before dedicating herself fully to painting, Noemi earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Tourism from the University of Barcelona. She built a successful career in consumer marketing, contributing to internationally recognized companies including Virgin Atlantic Airways and Gap Inc. Her professional experience, combined with her global perspective, continues to influence the discipline, creativity, and vision she brings to her work as an artist.
Today, Noemi's paintings are recognized for their expressive brushwork, rich color palettes, and ability to capture the emotion and energy of a place. Whether inspired by the streets of Barcelona, the landscapes of California, or destinations around the world, each piece invites viewers to pause, connect, and experience the beauty of everyday moments through her eyes.
